SUMMARY OF POSITION
Puffin Products seeks a part-time Graphic Design Production Assistant for production and design of artwork for print and online use. You will prepare artwork and design printed material and online content. You will work directly with our art director and web programmer. We are a rapidly growing company and career advancement can be rapid and high.
This is a part-time opportunity.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
o Helps to assemble design campaigns in Adobe Indesign, Adobe Photoshop, or Adobe Illustrator.
o Helps to assemble design campaigns in Microsoft Publisher for print.
o Assist in creating designs, graphics and layouts for various projects.
o Project are for print (brochures, business cards, published books, etc.) and online (web site, landing pages, email newsletters, etc.)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
o Experience & knowledge in standard Adobe graphic design software:
InDesign, CS-5 (advanced skills are required)
Photoshop
Illustrator
Dreamweaver
o Experience & knowledge in Microsoft Word and Publisher
o Knowledge of PC & Macintosh systems; Word and Excel.
o Artistic ability is important – Strong design, composition and typography skills, with heavy attention to detail.
o Ability to function as a team player and collaborate with others to achieve daily workload goals.
